Hormones

HGH — amount, purity, dimer and HMWP

Amount, purity, dimer and higher-molecular-weight proteins in one certificate.

Growth hormone needs more than a purity percentage. Aggregates and dimers are the failure mode that a simple HPLC number hides, so this test reports amount, purity, dimer content and higher-molecular-weight proteins separately.

What this test tells you

Identity — LC-MS

Confirms the molecule is what the label claims, by measuring the mass of the eluting ions. Catches substitution and the wrong compound entirely.

Content — quantitative HPLC

How much is actually in the vial, compared against the declared strength and reported as a percentage of claim.

Purity — HPLC-UV

Area percent of the main peak, with the chromatogram attached so the figure can be checked rather than trusted.

A verifiable report

A report ID and unique key that resolve to a public record. Anything that does not resolve is not a genuine report.

Parameters
Target compoundHuman Growth Hormone (somatropin)
Testing methodSEC-HPLC + RP-HPLC + ESI-LC-MS
Result formatIU and mg per vial, purity %, dimer %, HMWP %
Minimum sample1 whole unopened vial (minimum 4 IU)
Frequently asked questions
Why does dimer matter?

Aggregated protein is immunogenic and inactive. A 99% purity figure can still hide several percent dimer.

Additional services

Add any of these to the same vial, on the same certificate.
